The word "Fu" means "happiness", but in the past it meant "good luck" and "good luck". Posting the word "Fu" during the Spring Festival, whether it is now or in the past, it embodies people's yearning for a happy life and wishes for a better future. In order to fully reflect this yearning and wish, the folks simply put the word "Fu" upside down, indicating that "happiness has fallen" and "blessings have arrived." Seeing all kinds of blessing characters displayed in front of everyone, the red blessing characters and warm blessings warmed everyone's hearts and created a strong atmosphere of joy and celebration for the Spring Festival.

Put the word "Fu" in front of the door, and the written record is Wu Zimu's "Meng Liang Lu" in the Song Dynasty: "No matter how big or small the family is, they will sweep the door, go to the dust, clean the court, change the door god, wall clock kuai, nail peach charm, Paste the spring card and sacrifice to the ancestors." "Paste the spring card" means to write the word "Fu" on red paper and paste it in front of the gate. From this we can see that the custom of sticking Fu characters has started at least since the Southern Song Dynasty and has a long history. Tasting tea and admiring words-the time in the mountains is very leisurely!

In the old days, the materials were not abundant, and I could not eat meat several times a year. In the twelfth lunar month, the pigs that have been raised for a year are killed and entertained relatives and friends during the Chinese New Year. The folks call it the killing pig. Now it is only in the mountains with simple folk customs that still retain this old-fashioned tradition!

There is a familiar saying: "People are afraid of becoming famous and afraid of being strong." By the end of the year, every family in the countryside will basically prepare for the new year. Pigs that grow stronger are bound to be inevitable. Basically, people have been preparing bacon one after another since the winter moon. Especially in the twelfth lunar month, the roar of pigs can be heard almost every day in the countryside. This sound indicates that the new year is coming.

As the saying goes: the year of the pig is called, and the year is coming soon. It can be seen that many farmers will regard killing pigs as the last thing to do at the end of the year. Due to the continuous development of this custom, they have gradually formed their own unique characteristics in many mountainous villages in Lin'an. For example, in some villages The first time after killing the new year pig, there is the custom of worshiping the kitchen monarch. It is expected that the six animals will flourish in the coming year and the five grains will be abundant. In these places, after the new year pig is killed, the heads and tails of the pigs will be placed together. Look forward to living without worrying about food and clothing.

Everyone is holding a big blessing on the left and right, and the New Year Pork is in the right hand. This also indicates that everyone will have a good harvest of spiritual and material things in the coming year.
